Advent

Expectant waiting. Silent anticipation.
Sudden glory!

The season of Advent reminds us of the
most amazing truth in the universe:
God came.

In one of his books, Erwin McManus
told the story of his proposal to his wife:

I loved a woman named Kim. I went
to her and asked her to be my wife.
She said no. I kept going. I kept
asking until she found out how
much I loved her. Then she said yes.

God didn’t just send someone with his
message. He didn’t entrust his love to
another. He came himself.

As we celebrate Advent together, the
truth of God’s coming transforms our
world and introduces the Kingdom.

May your Advent be wonderfully
connected and beautifully blessed.
