Richmont Graduate University invites applications for full-time faculty positions. Richmont currently offers two Master of Arts programs in Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy and a Master of Science in Christian Psychological Studies. Richmont Graduate University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
Faculty responsibilities include teaching master’s counseling courses, advising students, serving on university committees, and supervising student research. Depending on the applicant’s administrative experience, there is potential for serving in director or other administrative roles.
Qualifications for Assistant/Associate/Professor of Counseling include the following:

Earned Ph.D. in psychology or marriage and family therapy. (ABD applicants nearing degree completion may be considered.)

License/license eligible in Georgia or Tennessee as psychologist, LMFT, or LPC.

Graduate teaching and leadership experience, with record of appropriate publications and presentations. Strong interest in research and mentoring thesis projects is favored.

Commitment to counselor education that facilitates spiritual growth, mental health, and relational healing from a Christian perspective.

A passion for teaching and mentoring counseling students.
Richmont approaches counselor education through the integration of professional counseling and spiritual and theological concepts. Integration describes a spiritually sensitive approach to professional counseling that operates within the bounds of ethical standards and a commitment to academic and clinical excellence. Successful candidates will uphold the values of Richmont Graduate University and be prepared to contribute to its Christian mission. The Richmont School of Counseling enrolls approximately 275 students.
