Graduate School Recruiter
Richmont Graduate University (formerly PSI) is the third oldest graduate institution that provides master’s level training in counseling and therapy from a Christian perspective. In addition, Richmont is involved in research efforts to demonstrate the effectiveness of integrating applied psychology with practical theology. Richmont is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to confer the following degrees: MA in Professional Counseling, MA in Marriage and Family Therapy, MS in Christian Psychological Studies, and Masters in Ministry; with campuses in Atlanta, GA and Chattanooga, TN.
Richmont seeks a qualified candidate to join the recruitment team. This full time position will be based out of the Atlanta campus. It requires heavy traveling responsibilities (mostly southeast), along with the ability to work well independently and with others.
Responsibilities include:
- Learning and presenting the unique qualities of Richmont’s programs to prospective students in a variety of settings such as fairs, class visits, conferences, and church visits.
- Develop and maintain contact with prospective students, college professors, local pastors, and others; answering questions, creating awareness, and building relationships.
- Research and plan recruiting trips; including travel arrangements, hotel booking, etc…
- Assist and participate in other university functions as needed (some Saturdays required).
Requirements include:
- Public Speaking and Interpersonal Skills
- Time Management and Organizational Skills
- Bachelors Degree from a four year undergraduate institution
- Willingness for extensive travel
- A heart for Christian Ministry and Counseling
- Sales, ministry, and/or collegiate admissions/recruiting experience a plus
