Designed to reward students who show the highest level of academic and professional potential and display evidence of research potential , six Paul L. Walker Merit Scholarships are available each year. Two of these awards may be granted for a full scholarship (tuition, books and fees) for the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy program. One may be awarded to a qualifying student at the Atlanta campus and one to a qualifying student who plans to attend the Chattanooga campus. Partial scholarships are also available each year. Walker scholars are required to complete a thesis while at Richmont.
Applications will be considered by the committee after the next program deadline, which is May 1.
