C.A.R.E. Training

Do you work with children?  Would you like to enhance your connection with them, increase positive behaviors, and decrease problematic classroom/other behaviors?

Richmont Community Counseling Center
A ministry of Richmont Graduate University presents:

C.A.R.E. Training
Child-Adult Relationship Enhancement

If you want to: connect better with children, give more effective directions that children are more likely to obey, increase positive appropriate behaviors, and manage problematic behaviors in the classroom more effectively, then our C.A.R.E. training is for you!  The skills taught in C.A.R.E. are evidence-based principles, found to be effective in improving adult-child interactions.  They are derived from Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, an evidence-based therapy model.  **This training has been approved by DHS’s Child Licensing Department.  Certificates will be given to all participants with all required documentation included**

This 3-hour training is offered for $20.00 per person.  Group rates are available for groups 10+, call or email Michelle Shelley for more information. Please note that all sales for this event are final.

Continuing Education: 3 NBCC-approved clock hours awarded.

As a result of attending this workshop/seminar participants will be able to:

1) demonstrate a greater ability to connect with all types of children, across a variety of settings

2) explain the function of attention seeking behaviors and demonstrate techniques to manage those behaviors more effectively.
