Richmont Community Counseling Center

The Richmont Community Counseling Center offers low-fee services for families and individuals who cannot afford the traditional cost of counseling and do not have adequate insurance to cover mental health services. We work with individuals, couples, and families, in addition to offering workshops and/or ongoing therapy groups out in the community as requested.

Richhmont Community Counseling Center offers the following specialized services for children and adolescents:

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT): research-based treatment for children age 4-18 who are struggling with emotional and/or behavioral symptoms due to either a recent traumatic event or a history of relational trauma or abuse.

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT): research-based treatment for children and primary caregiver(s) focused on decreasing child behavioral symptoms and strengthening parent-child relationship.  PCIT is effective for children age 2-7 and involves weekly parent training & coaching by a specially trained clinician.
