Richmont’s Office of Enrollment Development welcomes inquiries from interested individuals of all backgrounds. Admissions counselors are available to assist prospective students with questions. which can be addressed by calling, writing or sending an e-mail to:

Additionally, Richmont encourages prospective students to visit the campus during a Richmont Preview Day. Individuals who wish to visit Richmont at other times are asked to schedule those visits through a Richmont admissions counselor.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the Richmont program requires the following:

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
• An undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
• GRE aptitude scores (V+Q) greater than 1,000
• Completion of basic undergraduate psychology courses and an introductory course in psychological statistics (recommended) Students with lower grades or test scores occasionally may be admitted where compensating strengths in other areas are clearly demonstrated. In making its selection, the Admissions Committee will give consideration to the applicant’s personal statements, recommendations, grade point average, and test scores. Personal interviews are recommended.

Application Requirements

An applicant must submit the following materials to be considered for admission to Richmont:

• Richmont application with a $50 nonrefundable application fee (payable to Richmont)
• One official transcript from each college attended
• One copy of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
• Letters of reference, including one character reference and three letters from former professors or recent employers and one from a member of the clergy
• An autobiographical statement
• A resume of vocational experience
