Pew research tells us that you weren’t alone. Many others are new owners as well. Now that you have consumed your first books and podcasts, maybe you are ready for more content for your device. Here are some sites that will help you look for content and add it successfully to your device.
Searching for e-books (sites that look many places to find what you want)
Inkmesh ( http://inkmesh.com/ ) Searches multiple sites, lets you specify your device to get better results, has subject searching, and suggests some promotional books for your reader.
Search-ebooks.eu ( http://search-ebooks.eu/ ) Another search for e-content. Less directed toward specific readers but does reach some content that churches have placed on the internet.
Taking advantage of your library membership
Many people belong to local public libraries that offer e-content. In most cases they will help you get started. Nashville Public Library offers some helps that you can adjust for local library content. ( http://www.library.nashville.org/info/gen_holidayebooks.asp ) This can be a way to borrow current, popular works. Richmont libraries have over 10,000 books that came from large collections of varied content. Ask Ron if you would like to explore this collection.
Looking for other sites
Gizmo’s Freeware ( http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/50-places-free-books-online.htm ) has a list of 446 (and growing) sites that offer free books online. There are subject collections that list audio books as well as e-books. As with all of these links, the content varies widely and one needs to be aware.
