Richmont Doctoral Student Awarded Eudokias Foundation Scholarship

Richmont Doctoral Student Awarded Eudokias Foundation Scholarship

School of Ministry doctoral student Ellen Rocha has been awarded the 2024-25 Eudokias Foundation Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to those pursuing dissertation topics of interest to the Foundation. The Eudokias Foundation fosters spiritual growth and mental well-being by supporting scholarship in the fields of pastoral counseling and Christian counseling. Congratulations, Ellen!

“The Eudokias Foundation is honored to present a scholarship to Ellen Rocha in support of her research on whether verifiable levels of attachment to God and heartfelt identity correlate to levels of anxiety and peace. Her education and practical experience in counseling and in church environments, including helping those experiencing spiritual distress, will enhance her understanding and lend additional credibility to her work.

The Eudokias Foundation (eudokias.org) takes its name from Luke 2:14, which references both the glory and grace of God, with peace being available to people who genuinely receive that grace at a heartfelt identity level. The mission and philosophy of Eudokias include fostering spiritual growth and mental well-being in the spiritual lives of individuals and communities by opening access to meaningful encounters with the Holy Spirit to empower people to have heartfelt confidence in being God’s beloved little children.”
