Richmont Graduate University Connects with More Than 200 Ministry Leaders at Multiply Church Summit

Richmont Graduate University recently participated in the Multiply Church Summit in partnership with the Noonday Baptist Association, connecting with more than 200 pastors and ministry leaders from churches throughout the community.

This marked Richmont’s first year participating in the summit. As an event sponsor, Richmont hosted an informational table and shared an introductory video highlighting the university’s mission and educational opportunities. For many attendees, the summit provided their first introduction to Richmont and its commitment to Christ-centered education, counseling, ministry, and community transformation.

Richmont was represented by Dr. Rochelle Mason, Director of Marketing & Communications; Michelle West, Vice President of Admissions; and Deanna Davis, Clinical and Senior Director of the Richmont Trauma Center. The team also had the opportunity to reconnect with Richmont alumni Laura Tennille Brown and Jessica Ruiz during the event.

During the summit, Richmont shared information with churches about opportunities to schedule practical training focused on understanding trauma and creating trauma-safe churches. These trainings can be conducted or facilitated by Davis through the Richmont Trauma Center and are designed to help equip church leaders to respond more effectively to individuals and families experiencing trauma.

Pastors and ministry leaders are often among the first people individuals turn to following traumatic events. By helping churches better understand trauma and trauma-informed care, Richmont hopes to strengthen their ability to serve as places of safety, support, healing, and restoration within their congregations and communities.

The summit also created opportunities to explore deeper partnerships with churches and ministry leaders, including aligned pathways to Christ-centered education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, advanced ministry degrees, and certificates.

Located in Marietta near Richmont’s Atlanta campus, the event provided an especially meaningful opportunity for the university to strengthen relationships within its own community.

Richmont is grateful to Joy Drake, our marketing partner and Noonday Systems Director and Christopher Nelon, NOBA Director of Growth for helping foster this new relationship and opening additional opportunities to connect with local churches and ministry leaders.

Richmont looks forward to expanding its partnership with the Noonday Baptist Association and its member churches as the university continues its mission of advancing God’s work of healing, restoration, and transformation in the lives of individuals, churches, and communities.
